Dear Competitors,
On behalf of the National Music & Global Culture Society, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your participation in the NMGCS V International Composition Competition and for the creativity and dedication you brought to exploring the rich folk music heritage of the Turkic nations.
This year, we received submissions from 19 countries across 5 continents, including Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, the UK, the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, China, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Australia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, and Iran. Our esteemed panel of jurors carefully evaluated each submission and selected the winning compositions.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the entire jury, we extend our sincere appreciation to every composer who contributed to the success of this international project. The Award Ceremony and Gala Concerts will take place on September 25 at 8:00 PM at the International Mugham Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the Hajibeyli International Music Festival, and on October 6 at 7:00 PM at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center in New York. The Gala Concerts will feature the three prize-winning compositions inspired by the folk songs of the Turkic nations.
