About The NMGCS III International Competition:

The National Music & Global Culture Society is pleased to announce the NMGCS III International Competition for the Best Video Recorded Performance. The competition is open to performers of all nationalities with no age restrictions.

Prizes

Three prizes totaling $6,000 will be awarded:

First Prize

  • $3000
  • Certificate of Excellence

Second Prize

  • $2000
  • Certificate of Excellence

Third Prize

  • $1000
  • Certificate of Excellence

Eligibility

The competition is open to solo performers and ensembles playing the following instruments:

  • Piano
  • Violin
  • Viola
  • Cello
  • Double Bass
  • Flute
  • Clarinet
  • Oboe
  • Voice: Soprano, Mezzo-soprano, Tenor, Baritone

Competition Requirements

Competitors should select and perform ONE piece per recording from the LIST.  Each competitor can submit more than one video entry using different pieces. Each entry will be evaluated individually and eligible for a winner’s prize.  Video performances may be recorded on any device, including a smartphone.  The video editing is allowed. 

To apply

All candidates must submit the following materials online no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on December 1, 2023.
Large files can be submitted via third parties such as Google Drive or WeTransfer. Competitors can also upload the video to YouTube and provide a link.

  • Video recorded performance
  • Short bio or CV
  • One photo of a performer  

Judging

The competition jury will include distinguished musicians. The jury’s decision will be final. Winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes will be announced on December 15, 2023. The results of the competition will be published worldwide.
