Dear competitors,
I am deeply grateful to all of you for your efforts and interest in Azerbaijani folk songs.
We received submissions from 21 countries across 4 continents, including the USA, Spain, Italy, Iran, Canada, Azerbaijan, Israel, China, the UK, Sweden, Ukraine, Taiwan, Hungary, Peru, Thailand, Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Colombia, France, and Turkey. Our esteemed panel of jurors carefully evaluated each entry, selecting the finest works. Azerbaijani music has inspired musicians around the globe, resulting in a number of outstanding compositions..
On behalf of the organizing committee and the entire jury, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone for your valuable contributions in making this event a success. The Award ceremony and Gala concerts will take place on September 28 at 5 PM at the Chamber Music Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of the Hajibeyli International Music Festival, and on November 8 at 7 PM at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center in New York. The Gala program will feature the works of the competition winners and the original Azerbaijani folk songs.
